Unlike many big charities, we guarantee that 100% of your donation goes directly to funding our project work. We do not take a percentage for admin, overheads or travel, which makes the way we work unique. You can also choose which project you wish to fund, and we will update you with news of how your money is making a difference every step of the way.

Taking on a charity challenge in the name of TDT is a brilliant way to support us. You can get fit, challenge yourself and help a great cause at the same time. If you are taking on a challenge such as climbing Kilimanjaro, why not directly support some of Tanzania’s poorest people by fundraising for TDT?
Or you could hold your own fundraising event – a coffee morning selling Tanzanian coffee perhaps, or a cake stand at a local event showcasing your baking skills. The list is endless! Get in touch to find out more!
You can, if you wish, support a specific project, cause or community. Again, Get in touch and we’ll discuss suitable projects.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of TDT – everyone who works for the charity both here and in Tanzania is a volunteer. This means every penny we raise can go directly to our project work – something we are very proud of.
We already have some amazing people on board, offering their skills and time to help those in need, but we are always on the lookout for dedicated, passionate people, both here and in Tanzania, to join our committee, help map Tanzania, or help us with advice or support.
Whatever your skill set, however much time you can give us, we can use you!

If you are a teacher, why not think about linking your school with one in Tanzania? It’s a great way to help your students broaden their education, while directly supporting schoolchildren in the poorest areas of Tanzania. With our first-hand experience of schools across the country, we are well placed to help you select the one that is a perfect fit for your children. Get in touch to find out more!
If you have any unwanted tablets or laptops tucked away somewhere, we can put them to great use by delivering them to one of our projects. They will be loaded with content from World Possible, which includes Wikipedia schools edition, 2000 maths and science videos from Khan academy, 800 classic books and various health resources.
